Our story began in Danville, Alabama in December of 2016. We met through mutual friends where I became friends with all of Christopher's friend group. We all started getting together just about every weekend or meeting up in town. I even went to watch him and most of our friends graduate in 2017! We remained friends, but both of our lives changed, so we did not hangout as much as we use to. Christopher got a job as a lineman and I moved off to Florence to participate in the UNA Marching Pride. After one semester, I decided it was time to come back home and go to Cahoun full-time. During this time, Christopher and his father started partnering with my father go-kart racing. My father had asked me one day if I were ready to race and of course I was! By this time, all 4 of us were together multiple times during the week at the shop working on go-karts and tires and just about every weekend racing together. On March 30, 2019, the day of the Talladega Frost Buster, Christopher's dad made a comment that he should date someone like me in which he followed with "maybe I should". I told him if he cut his hair and shaved his face that I would go on a date with him. He showed up the following week with his hair cut and face shaved!! After that he asked my dad if he could date me, then asked me on April 30, 2019 to be his girlfriend with a beautiful bouquet of flowers!
